With upgraded turbochargers, an exhaust system from Akrapovič, and custom ECU mapping, the car boasted over 500 horsepower (368kW) and 600nm torque, turning it into a track-ready beast. The aggressive stance, along with the carbon-fiber body parts, showcased the precision engineering that ABT Sportsline is renowned for. - Volkswagen Golf MK2 Restomod
A nod to the past, this fully restored and modernized Volkswagen Golf MK2 brought classic VW style with modern performance. Featuring a 1.8 20V Turbo engine swap, the car almost doubles its normal amount of horsepower, whilst maintaining the timeless look of a classic Golf. Custom BBS wheels, Recaro seats, and a subtle yet tasteful wide-body kit made this build a perfect example of how to blend old-school charm with modern performance.
Competitions and Awards
One of the highlights of PS Days is the tuning competition, where cars are judged on various categories such as best exterior, interior, and performance upgrades. This year’s event saw stiff competition, with some of the top tuners in Europe showcasing their incredible craftsmanship. The awards ceremony honored the most innovative and eye-catching builds, with the much-coveted “Best of Show” prize going to a Porsche 911 (964) Turbo.
