Classic MK1 Meeting
Shows like this celebrate the first generation of the Volkswagen Golf, also known as the Mk1. The events attract a dedicated community of enthusiasts who showcase their amazing and restored vehicles, from totally stock models to complete custom builds, with a variety of engine choices.
New rules and location
One of the events is the annual Classic Mk1 Meeting in Zuidbroek, Netherlands, which will be held on September 1st, 2024. This year visitors should be beware of the new location! It’s now located at the Beneluxweg in Zuidbroek, the Netherlands. The crew has confirmed there will be enough space for everyone.
Starting this year not only MK1 models are welcome but also some slightly newer models can make their appearance. We have listed them for you below:
- MK1 & MK2 (Golf, Jetta, Polo)
- Scirocco & Corrado
- Passat tot 1986
- Audi tot 1986
- Aircooled, including Buggies
- Transporter T1, T2 and T3
With a larger list of allowed cars, the crew is expecting a big turn up!

Shows zoals deze draaien om de eerste generatie van de Volkswagen Golf, ook bekend als de Mk1. De evenementen trekken vaak een grote groep liefhebbers die hun geweldige en gerestaureerde voertuigen laten zien. Variërend van volledig originele modellen tot compleet aangepaste builds, met een verscheidenheid aan motoropties.
Meer modellen en nieuwe locatie
Een van de evenementen is de jaarlijkse Classic Mk1 Meeting in Zuidbroek, die plaatsvindt op 1 september 2024. Dit jaar moeten bezoekers opletten voor de nieuwe locatie! Het evenement wordt nu gehouden aan de Beneluxweg in Zuidbroek. De organisatie heeft bevestigd dat er voldoende ruimte zal zijn voor iedereen.
Vanaf dit jaar zijn niet alleen MK1-modellen welkom, maar kunnen ook enkele iets nieuwere modellen hun opwachting maken. We hebben ze hieronder voor je opgesomd:
