For the 2004 season we wanted something else. It took even more time removing all bottle caps but we did it. For some parts, like the fenders, new pieces were installed. Once the car was stripped of all caps we painted it black. We thought of the ‘A-Team’ van and replicated the style on the Golf. This included a custom welded ridiculous spoiler on the back. Obviously it again got a lot of attention and we drove it for the 2004 season, with the VW Mania as the biggest event.
