Wat is RevWorks RetroSpective?

RetroSpective is een sublabel van RevWorks dat zich richt op auto’s van 25 jaar en ouder. De hedendaagse auto-scene laat veel tekenen zien dat deze doelgroep groeit en populairder wordt.

We merken echter ook dat de creativiteit minder grenzen kent dan de huidige tijd, vooral de 70’s, 80’s & 90’s zijn echt de golden era’s op het gebied van verschillende car culture’s. Met het oog op de toekomst en de auto’s die de 00’s nog gaan toevoegen aan het RetroSpective concept kunnen we nog heel lang uitbreiden.

De drie hierboven genoemde decennia hebben elk hun eigen specifieke stijlen. De 70’s staan bijvoorbeeld bekend om de Lowriders en Muscle Cars. De 80’s staan bekend om de klapkoplampen en het magistrale DTM tijdperk dat zich nog doortrok tot in de 90’s. Zo is over elke 10 jaar veel te zien.

Wat kun je verwachten?

Een unieke locatie waar elke generatie zich kan vergapen aan de meest unieke projecten vanuit heel Europa en zelfs daarbuiten. Van Lowrider tot JDM Legend, van Muscle Car tot Vintage Racer, alle vakjes worden afgevinkt.

Daarnaast kan je over “RevWorks Main Street” lopen. Een straat vol met shops en stands. Lekker een hapje en drankje nuttigen op de “Mr. Simons Foodstrip”. Het evenement zou niet compleet zijn zonder activiteiten voor jong en oud. In de “Retro Arcade Hall” kan je terug naar de tijd van Outrun, PacMan, Space Invaders en vele andere classics. Natuurlijk mogen de flipperkasten ook niet ontbreken.

Voor de hele kleintjes is er een draaimolen volledig in de oude stijl te vinden. Als bonus stelt Van Adrighem het unieke auto museum open en kan elke auto uit hun collectie bewonderd worden, zelfs die uit de Mille Miglia. We sluiten de dag af met een spectaculaire Show & Shine prijsuitreiking. De openingstijden zijn van 11:00 tot 18:00 en de genoemde prijs uitreiking zal om 16:30 zijn.

Jouw auto op Retrospective

Om deel te nemen aan RetroSpective met jouw auto dien je door een selectie heen te komen. Hiervoor zijn er een aantal criteria waar jouw voertuig aan moet voldoen. Het belangrijkste is dat jouw auto in of voor 1999 gebouwd dient te zijn. Er is echter wel een uitzondering. Is jouw auto uit 2003 maar bestond het model al in 1999, ook dan is jouw auto welkom op RetroSpective, we noemen dat: “overlap van doorbouw”.

RevWorks ambieert altijd een hoog niveau van kwaliteit. Als je dit leest, zal je op onze socials en website vast al wat auto’s zien die geselecteerd zijn. Vind jij dat jouw auto daar tussen past dan kan je een aanmelding versturen met daarin een specs list en foto’s van jouw auto. Gebruik deze link om jouw auto aan te melden!

Ticket prijzen en bezoekers

Je kunt online je tickets bestellen. Wanneer je er vroeg bij bent krijg je een early-bird ticket voor €10,- waar de tickets normaal €12,50 kosten. Weet je nog niet of je kunt en wil je op de dag zelf aan de poort betalen dan kost de entree je €15,-. Kinderen tot 4 jaar zijn gratis, daarna betalen ze tot 12 jaar een bedrag van €5,-. Parkeren voor bezoekers is gratis!

Overnachten

Kom je van ver en wil je overnachten, dan heb je keuze uit 2 hotels. Je kunt kiezen uit het Wapen van Marion en Badhotel Oostvoorne.

What is RetroSpective?

RetroSpective is a sub-label from RevWorks that focuses on cars 25 years and older. Today’s automotive scene shows many signs that this target group is growing and becoming more popular. However, we also notice that creativity has fewer boundaries than today, especially the 70’s, 80’s & 90’s are really the golden eras in all different car cultures. 

With a future perspective and the cars that the 00’s will add to the RetroSpective concept, we can continue to expand for a long time. The three decades mentioned above each have their own specific styles. The 70’s, for example, are known for the Lowriders and Muscle Cars. The 80’s are known for the pop-up headlights and the wonderful DTM era that continued into the 90’s. So there is a lot to see in every 10 years.

What to expect?

A unique location packed with the best from every decade and culture’s.  Where every generation can marvel at the most unique projects from all over Europe and even beyond. From Lowrider to JDM Legend, from Muscle Car to Vintage Racer, all the boxes are checked. 

You can also walk along “RevWorks Main Street”. A street full of shops and stands. Enjoy a snack and drink at the “Mr. Simons Foodstrip”. The event would not be complete without activities for all ages. In the “Retro Arcade Hall” you can go back in time of Outrun, PacMan, Space Invaders and many other classics. Of course, pinball machines will make it complete. For the little ones there is a carousel completely in vintage style. 

As a bonus, Van Adrighem opens the unique car museum and every car from their collection can be admired, even those from the Mille Miglia. We end the day with a spectacular Show & Shine awards ceremony. Opening hours are between 11am and 6 pm, where the price giving ceremony will be at 4.30pm.

Your car on RetroSpective

To be a part of RetroSpective with your car, you must pass a selection. There are a number of criteria that your vehicle must be checked. The most important thing is that your car must have been built in or before 1999. However, there is an exception. If your car is from 2003 but the model already existed in 1999, your car is also welcome to be a part of RetroSpective.

RevWorks always strives for a high level of quality. If you are reading this, you will probably already have seen some selected cars posted on our socials and website. If you think your car fits or even stands out next to those cars, you can send an application with a spec list and photos of your car. Click on the link to email us.

Ticketing and visitors

You can order your tickets online via this link. If you don't wait too long you will get tickets for the early bird price of €10,- where the normal online price is €12,50. If you want to buy tickets at the gate then the price will be €15,-. Kids untill the age of 4 years go in for free and between ages 4 and 12 they only pay €5,-. Parking for visitors is free of charge.

Overnights

If you need to come from far then an overnight might be a good idea. They have advertised 2 options; hotel het Wapen van Marion and Badhotel Oostvoorne.
